The Life’s View Through The Eyes Of Few

Last evening I had a chance and was engaged in a casual talk with my neighbor, this chit chat encompassed an array of subject as it was a leisurely hour and we had some time in hand to spend.  I had just completed a seminar and few pointers continued to come and go in our talks.  Along with us were too bright teenagers who attended the seminar and wanted to take life head on.  Both of these teenagers were surely amazing enough that they would provide you a dose of enthusiasm as well as hope that, no, the next generation is not only heading to disaster, because they are creative enough and hold the idea of changing the world for better.

Amidst the distractions in the form of kids playing as well as shouting around and doing their usual stuff, we somehow managed to continue our discussion.  It was although not the perfect setting wherein you could expect something thought-provoked-understanding to surface, yet it managed to do so.  Suddenly during our talk, there came a topic of the much adored movie “Bahubali.”

As my neighbor continued to share her experience of watching the first part of the movie, she narrated that she managed to get tickets in the multiplex and as no one else was ready to go, she grabbed her sister-in-law to accompany her.  Now the interesting part is neither of them understood Telegu language; however, the tickets they got were for the movie being screened in Telegu without subtitles.  Although there was much excitement in the air, yet they just managed and continued to guess the story by just seeing the images on the screen.

They were present for the entire movie, but were not sure what the story exactly was with an additional pinch of confusion of whether Bahubali was the father or the son, as they were even unaware of the first names.  Still they managed to be delighted by the magnanimous portray of graphics, amazing sound, and the intense action, yet they continued to see, understand, and feel the movie through the story running in their head as per their own understanding.  This was surely way off from the original track of the movie.

Now suddenly something happened, and the lights were on again and the public started to slowly move out, but my neighbor was still shocked why, because some time ago there was an intermission so how can there be another intermission, but what they didn’t knew at that time was that the movie was over.  They kept wondering as to what happened and their imagination was gasping for more and trying to figure out as to how the movie ended.  With all this confusion in her head they returned back and my neighbor was all smiles and surely had a gala time while narrating the entire experience.  At times you surely laugh at your own self and that’s a great practice.

However, while keenly observing her narration, an understanding of life surfaced for me and in the brief moment I could visualize as to how majority of the people continue to carry on with their lives.  For them life has just become like the realtime story narrated above.  They for sure are actively participating in life; however, exactly unaware what is going on.  They are living their lives based on their understanding which might be for sure way off from the originality of the way life operates.  They are just excited and depressed based on the surroundings without real understanding.

They don’t even know who is playing which character and even what their role is in the play of life.  They just are running even without a clue – where?  For them life has become mundane where they just understood that they are in a grind where their role is to take birth, eat, sleep, reproduce, be a good person to the society, and die.  Even without understanding what and why are they here on this planet and one fine day they just reach a place where suddenly the movie stops and they stand clueless as to what has happened.

However, as in the above life situation of my neighbor, she is now able to understand what the story was as someone narrated the entire story in detail in the exact same lines as the movie was.  Similarly won’t it be wonderful for you to find out someone who understands the entire story of life and can narrate it to you in the exact same form as it was designed to be?  Won’t our lives be a completely different league, won’t we draw our lives on a separate canvas, and won’t we experience an absolutely amazing tune of harmonious life with a better understanding of life?  And the answer to this is a big fat Yes.

So dear friends, don’t just be an onlooker of life, don’t just get lost, and don’t just stand aghast.  Find some guiding force, search for the guiding star, and quest for the master because if you have these, your life will never be the same again.  Then life will not just happen to you, but it will happen for you.  With all my prayers being with you, I am sure you will find out the real master and understand life in its entirety.
